Christmas soap - "The Three Kings" Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judea, ruled as King Herod in Jerusalem. Soon after his birth, Magi from the East came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where do we find the newborn child, the coming King of the Jews? We have seen his star and have come to worship him. "
When King Herod heard this, he fell into excitement, and all Jerusalem with him. Having received this approval, the men made their way. The star which they had already observed in his rise was preceded them. Just above the place where the child was, he stopped. Even in early Christianity, stories began to orphans from the East to rank. Their number was not always "three" and the Moor in earlier representations Caucasian with a dark beard. Frequently there is a representation of the magician as a young man, adult man and an old man. The Magi brought gifts to the child: frankincense, myrrh and gold. Too, should of course in the soap. Frankincense and myrrh came in the form of the fragrance (Frankincens & Myrrh Fruit of Grace) into the gold as Mica for the stamp on top.
From the Legend of the Three Kings developed traditions. So today Star Singer go on 6 January from house to house while wearing a homemade star on a stick in front of them. So I have also tinkered a: Fimostempel with three stars on a stick.
In some areas there the old custom of "Bean King". But are baked "Epiphany cake, with a bean, an almond is a coin baked or otherwise a small object. Who found this while eating is "king of the day".
