Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judea, ruled as King Herod in Jerusalem. Soon after his birth, Magi from the East came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where do we find the newborn child, the coming King of the Jews? We have seen his star and have come to worship him. "
When King Herod heard this, he fell into excitement, and all Jerusalem with him. He had all the chief priests and teachers of the law to come to him and asked, "Where is the promised King to be born" They said: "In the city of Bethlehem in Judea. For as the prophet has written: "Thou Bethlehem in the land of Judah! You are not the insignificant town of Judah, for out of thee shall come a man who is supposed to protect guide my people Israel.>

Having received this approval, the men made their way. The star which they had already observed in his rise was preceded them. Just above the place where the child was, he stopped. So far the story in the New Testament, based on the legend of the Three Wise Men content.
Even in early Christianity, stories began to orphans from the East to rank. Their number was not always "three" and the Moor in earlier representations Caucasian with a dark beard. Frequently there is a representation of the magician as a young man, adult man and an old man. From the Legend of the Three Kings developed traditions. So today Star Singer go on 6 January from house to house while wearing a homemade star on a stick in front of them. So I have also tinkered a: Fimostempel with three stars on a stick.
